Estonian expertise in hygiene and infection prevention
CHEMI-PHARM was founded in Estonia in 1997. The company was created in response to a very specific need: while working in a hospital, doctor Ruth Oltjer encountered health problems caused by irritating ingredients in disinfectants. This became the starting point for a company focused on safe, effective, and professional hygiene solutions.
Initially, the company imported high-quality disinfectants, but as demand grew, a team of professionals was established and a production facility was opened in Tallinn in 2000. Today, CHEMI-PHARM develops and manufactures disinfection, cleaning, and skincare products, exports them to more than 25 countries, and continues to develop solutions that help reduce the risk of infection.
