Warranty and Product Conformity Terms

SIA “Feraks” is committed to product quality and customer satisfaction at every stage of cooperation. These terms explain the consumer’s statutory rights as well as any commercial guarantee that may be offered by the manufacturer or seller.

Consumer statutory rights

A consumer has the right to submit a claim to the Seller concerning a lack of conformity of the goods with the contract within two years from the date of purchase or receipt of the goods, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

These statutory rights apply regardless of whether a separate commercial guarantee is offered and may not be restricted by a shorter guarantee period or other less favourable terms.

Product quality and condition on delivery ▲

We carefully select goods and ensure that they are delivered in an appropriate technical and visual condition, taking into account the nature of the goods, manufacturer requirements and applicable quality standards.

Commercial guarantee ▼

For certain product categories, the manufacturer, supplier or Seller may offer a commercial guarantee. A commercial guarantee is an additional voluntary commitment, and its conditions, duration, scope and guarantor are stated in the relevant guarantee document or product information.

A commercial guarantee does not affect or restrict the consumer’s statutory rights.

Food products and expiry dates ▼

For product categories subject to expiry-date control, such as coffee, tea and other food products, SIA “Feraks” ensures that the goods are delivered within their valid shelf life and in accordance with applicable food circulation requirements.

If the Buyer receives goods with an expired shelf life or goods that otherwise fail to conform to the contract, the Buyer may contact the Seller and use the remedies provided by applicable law.

Products for which a commercial guarantee may not be offered ▼

For certain product groups, including consumables, printing and packaging materials, or goods whose properties are materially affected by conditions of use, storage or processing, a separate commercial guarantee may not be offered. This does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights in relation to goods that do not conform to the contract.

What to do if goods do not conform ▼

If you have questions or a complaint about goods received, please contact the FERAX customer service team as soon as possible, providing the order or purchase details and, where possible, photographs or other information showing the non-conformity.

Each case is assessed individually, taking into account the type of goods, the actual circumstances and applicable law. Consumers retain the remedies provided by law in relation to goods that do not conform to the contract.

Updates to these terms ▼

SIA “Feraks” may update these terms to reflect changes in legislation, company processes and the product range. Any changes do not affect rights already acquired by the consumer or the terms of an existing commercial guarantee.

Important: a commercial guarantee is an additional commitment. The consumer’s statutory rights in relation to goods that do not conform to the contract apply independently of any commercial guarantee.
