Label manufacturing — from a simple white label to a tailored solution

A label may appear to be a simple product, but its performance depends on a combination of parameters. Size matters, but so do the material, adhesive, printing method, perforation, roll specifications and the surface on which the label will be used.

We manufacture plain white and printed labels on rolls in a wide range of sizes — for both standard applications and customer-specific projects.

Materials for different applications

No single label material is the optimal choice for every task. Depending on the product and the conditions in which it will be used, different material categories can be selected.

The right material depends on the labelled product, printing technology, storage and use conditions and other requirements. If the customer does not have all the technical details, we can help evaluate the most suitable solution.

The adhesive matters just as much as the label material

One of the most commonly underestimated parts of a label is the adhesive. A label must not only look right — it also needs to perform properly on the intended surface and under the expected conditions of use.

For custom projects, the material and adhesive combination is therefore evaluated according to the intended application. This approach helps avoid situations where a well-made label is technically unsuitable for the job.

Flexographic printing and roll-to-roll processing

FERAX manufacturing capabilities also include flexographic printing for roll-fed materials. This allows us to produce not only unprinted labels, but also printed products with different levels of complexity.

Depending on the project, product specifications, printing and finishing solutions can be adapted. Every custom project is evaluated individually with regard to technical requirements, required volume and intended application.

Receipt rolls, ATM rolls and other specialised rolls

A significant part of FERAX manufacturing is dedicated to rolls for professional equipment. We manufacture receipt and thermal rolls, ATM rolls, rolls for customer service systems and other specialised roll products.

Depending on the equipment and customer requirements, roll width, diameter, winding length, core specifications and other technical characteristics may all be important. This allows us to offer not only standard sizes, but also solutions with customer-specific parameters.
